Our client is a leading manufacturer of timber window and doors and are looking to recruit a Service Engineer to cover Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
As a Site Service Engineer you are primarily responsible for rectifying reported manufacturing defects out on site. Key tasks and responsibilities are to re-hang doors, glaze windows, and rectify ironmongery defects and touch-up paint defects. You will also be required to inspect other company products and complete the required reports for all work undertaken. Other duties will also include ensuring that work is performed in accordance with company specifications, communicating with clients and keeping them informed throughout the remedial work as well completing any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
The successful applicant must have experience as a Joiner, must have a site CSCS card and a clean driving license. This role may require some travel and overnight stays in hotels during the week.
