Jotun in the UK

Our Flixborough site is the heart of our sales and manufacturing operation in the UK and is highly influential within Jotun Paints (Europe) Ltd. We have been successfully producing paints and coatings here since 1989. 

To help us succeed in the next stage of our operations strategy, we are seeking highly motivated and committed individuals to join us as Factory Operatives working in Production or Filling.

The full-time contracts for these roles are for a fixed period of 9 months and are to support the business through our 2019 peak period season.

Please note however; we anticipate a number of these positions may become permanent

The Role

As a member of a team working weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday), you will produce high quality marine and protective coatings.

Some of the positions will be for the night shift (Sunday to Thursday), which we will be running whilst there is a peak period of demand.

Attention to detail is a key requirement due to the need to follow formulations. Candidates will also need a good standard of literacy and numeracy. Experience of working in manufacturing is preferred.

Previous experience of working in the paint industry is not necessary as we have a strong commitment to training and development

Salary Package

Salary starts at £18,274.50 plus shift allowance (40-hour week), the day shift allowance is 15%. The night shift allowance is 30%.
