Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is the UK’s first tenant and employee co-owned mutual housing society, with 13,000 homes throughout the local area.

By working together we provide better places for our members, tenants and employees to live and work.  Drawing on the area’s rich co-operative heritage, our pioneering model places members at the heart of decision-making, allowing everyone to enjoy a sense of security and belonging in places we make great together.

We are currently seeking a Collective Effect Coordinator to coordinate RBH’s Collective Effect Project funded by Ambition for Ageing and to effectively work with colleagues and partners to identify older people to co design the Collective Effect project in Kirkholt neighbourhood.

Proactive in your approach you will work with colleagues, partner agencies and older people to design  projects which are likely to appeal to isolated older people. You will also run events for older people supported by colleagues and  partners and develop the evaluation materials in line with the Ambition for Ageing project requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to bring together older people and run events to co design social activities for this group. You will also have the ability to run events and support older people to run co designed events. Experience of working with older people organising and delivering a range of activities is essential as well as networking and making contact with a wide range of local groups to partner providing activities and identifying funding.
