Teaching Assistant Level 1

Two posts: 17.5 hours over 5 mornings each week, 39 weeks per year initially based at St Thomas’ CE Primary School

Salary Scale: G3.6 – G3.9 (£17,007 - £18,319 pro rata)

We are looking to appoint two outstanding Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants to start in January 2019.

Do you have the skills, passion and creativity in order to engage children and help them achieve their potential?

Can you inspire and motivate our children; offer challenge in order to raise standards and aspirations?

Do you have experience of working in Key Stage 2?

Experience in Year 6 would be an advantage.

We have an excellent team of teachers and teaching assistants and are looking for team players, who are flexible, hardworking and positive at all times.

Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent. We strive to support our team and offer training and support for you and will endeavour to develop you as a valuable member of our team. Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit the school by appointment.
