Alexander James Recruiting is currently looking for an experienced sales professional to work for a national trailer provider across the central belt of Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a background in material handling, commercial vehicles or other capital equipment and have solid hire understanding. This is a great opportunity for a talented sales individual to take on a new step in their career.
Responsibilities
* Managing an existing client base across the central belt of Scotland of Edinburgh and Glasgow
* Business development across the same region
* Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for trailer sales and hire
* Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of trailers and related equipment
* Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
Requirements
You will ideally have worked in a sales role within either commercial vehicles to include truck & trailer or van, the material handling sector or another hire industry with a strong understanding of putting together lease or rental deals. Experience from another sales background may be considered provided that there is strong evidence of a strong sales record. You will be proactive in your approach and have both strong account management skills and the ability the develop new business. In terms of locality, the candidate can be based in any areas across the central belt of Scotland.

* Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to GBP35,000, depending on experience)
