Visual Merchandising Assistant
* GBP22,000 - GBP24,000 Pa
* Lichfield, Burntwood, Staffordshire, West Midlands
* Permanent
* Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm
Are you an experienced visual merchandiser? Do you have a creative flair and imagination? This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading independent furniture retailers and put your own stamp on things.
People shop with their eyes, so its the job of the visual merchandising assistant to keep displays looking great and product sales healthy!
This role will enable you to take ownership and give you full creative rain in an amazing space!
This role does involve some travel to suppliers and also to clients for photo shoots. A company pool car is available to use and costs covered so a full and clean driving license is essential

* Visual/spatial awareness and manual dexterity
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
The Person - Visual Merchandising Assistant
* Previous working experience in merchandising
* Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage and motivate
* Strong presentation and communications skills
* Team player
* Experience within the interior design industry is desirable
* A passion and desire to create displays thinking "outside the box"
Key Responsibilities - Visual Merchandising Assistant
* Maximise Customer interest and sales levels by creating and displaying existing and innovative products
* Produce Layout plans for stores and maintain accessory inventories
* Monitor and analyse stock movements
* Remain up to date with the industries latest trends
* Carry out "comparison shops" to maintain awareness of other retailers visual concepts
* Identifying and sourcing supplies and stock
* Maintaining a budget and negotiating with suppliers of visual materials
* Decorate and accessories throughout season change to create the wow factor
