Construction Equipment / Materials handling / Field Service Engineer. South and West Yorkshire.
Mechanical engineering, Diesel engine, laptop diagnostics and auto electrics required. Transferable skills and industry experience will be considered with relevant industry leading training provided for the right candidates. You could be experienced within Construction plant / Forklifts / Material handling equipment / Heavy goods vehicles / ex-forces vehicles, etc...
GBP14.50 per hour moving to GBP14.75 post review (39 hours / week Paid door to door) + Overtime + fully expensed company vehicle + Tools + 25 days Holiday (and 8 days Bank holiday)
Over time opportunities OTE 40K PLUS very realistic.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Construction Plant Engineer to work on a range excavators and articulated dump trucks with in an internationally recognised and established lifting and construction plant solutions provider.
Company:
Large renowned group, specialising in the manufacture,supply and service of a branded range of MHE, Construction plant equipment for the recycling, demolition, plant hire, Civil Engineering markets. Now seeking to expand their service team and field engineering expertise in West and South Yorkshire.
Job Role :
Your time will be spent based from home and travelling to customer sites, providing a broad range of electro-mechanical repairs for a range of construction plant machinery.
You will benefit from receiving a van and working hours paid at door to door, with overtime paid in addition of double time for any Saturdays and Sundays.
The right person will need to be prepared to build customer relationships and support the expansion of the portfolio of customers and adhere and sustain to all health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
Experience in Loader Cranes and Excavator knowledge highly desirable although any relevant experience and skills will also be considered.
OEM experience highly desirable.
Field service engineering experience
Good command of the English Language - Essential
Commercially aware
Customer facing / relationship builder
UK / EU Drivers licence ( no more than 6 points )
