NURSERY NURSE / EYFS TEACHING ASSISTANT (MATERNITY COVER)

An exciting opportunity exists to work in one of the leading independent schools in West Yorkshire, effective February 2019.

Huddersfield Grammar School seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Nursery Nurse / EYFS Teaching Assistant, qualified to Level 3 or above, to provide maternity cover in our Early Years department.

Huddersfield Grammar School is thriving and now comprises of over 540 students, from the Early Years to Year 11, with class sizes typically limited to a maximum of 20 pupils per class. Candidates for the Nursery Nurse / EYFS Teaching Assistant post should illustrate a capacity to assist our Early Years team in all aspects of day-to-day care, through social, emotional, educational and practical interaction, nurturing and guidance.

The appointed person will be responsible for a key group of children, helping them to learn and develop socially, physically and emotionally, through familiar routines, stimulating educational play and other child-based activities.
