Corporate Finance Manager

We are recruiting for a Corporate Finance Manager to join a finance company based in Newport. The job role is fully supported so would suit and newly qualified auditor or someone has at least a number of year experience in accounting in practice.

Person specification

• A qualified accountant with understanding/experience of corporate finance (desirable)
• Audit/accounts experience in a Practice environment
• Understanding of Financial Statements
• Ability to deal with tasks on a timely basis
• Excellent communication skills, eg. speaking to clients and colleagues
• Enthusiasm, drive and determination
• Highly developed organisational skills
• Ability to perform well working in a team environment and individually
• Ability to self manage workload
• Competent meeting organisation deadlines.

Corporate Finance Manager duties

• Managing engagements to ensure that deadlines are met and client expectations exceeded
• Working closely with partners and senior client staff (typically MD/FD level)
• Supervision, mentoring and review of junior staff
• Heavily involved in networking, business development activities and bringing in new clients
• Establishing a broad range of professional contacts with advisers, lawyers and funders.
