B3Living is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing over 4,600 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex. Our mission is to build a range of homes for social rent, private rent and shared ownership to counteract the local housing crisis and a shortage of homes in our area.
We have recently completed a major restructure which has created a number of new opportunities.
We are seeking two Housing Support Officers to provide general and financial administrative support to the income, neighbourhood and estates services teams.
Within this role, you will ensure systems are accurate and up to date, payments are processed and reconciled efficiently, and customers receive an appropriate level of information and support to maintain effective relationships as well as rental income for the business.
Proactive in your approach, you will be responsible for processing rent payments and direct debits, maintaining our garage register, managing reception, data entry and general administration. You will also deal with general queries from customers, ensuring they are provided with accurate, appropriate information about their accounts and are dealt with professionally, promptly and in line with relevant procedures.
The successful candidate will come from an administration background, have excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills along with excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills. Experience of working in the housing sector is highly desirable. You must have the ability to prioritise and deal with conflicting demands and to remain calm under pressure.
At B3Living we are confident that our contribution to resolving the housing crisis is tangible and we are determined in our continued commitment to the delivery of more affordable housing.
Closing date: midday 26th November 2018.
Interviews will be held on 5th December 2018.
All our vacancies are open to flexible working arrangements. We offer a competitive benefits package including generous leave entitlements and a personal pension scheme. We believe in the benefits of a diverse workforce and strongly welcome applications from those currently under-represented in the organisation, including LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, people with disabilities and people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
