The Senior Care Assistant will provide a responsive, respectful and reliable care and support service to vulnerable older people within a day service setting. You will provide support, care and activities to members involving family, carers and agencies to meet their changing needs. Additionally you will supervise care staff through observation and discussion, and monitor that the quality of care is appropriate to the needs of the individuals.

We are looking for people who have experience in the care, support and safeguarding  of older and / or vulnerable people along with awareness of the various needs they may have. You will respect and practise the principles of dignity, privacy, independence, choice and fulfilment ensuring you keep up to date with all health, safety and legal requirements in this setting.

A level 2 diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required and the role is subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.
