Tyre Fitter - Classic Vehicles

This company is a world-leading supplier of tyres for cars and motorcycles from the 1890s to the 1990s.

They are looking for a classic vehicle enthusiast, preferably with tyre-fitting experience, to be further trained to their very high fitting standards.

They have just opened a fitting centre at Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire and need a mature, responsible and personable individual to eventually run this branch.

Initially, the successful candidate would be working two to three days a week at Bicester alongside skilled staff drafted from their main branch in Beaulieu, Hampshire. Once training is complete, the role could well expand to five days a week with the following key (but by no means exclusive) responsibilities:

- Organise fitting appointments with customers in person, by email and by phone
- Ensure sufficient stock levels of tyres, inner tubes and accessories at Bicester to satisfy fitting requirements
- Fit and balance tyres to cars and motorcycles to the very high standards required by the company
- Take payments, create invoices and keep clear records of all work done
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company

Please note, the salary quoted is pro-rata for a full-time position.
