Boulter Mead Ltd is a major distributor for Ifor Williams Trailers Ltd. Operating a multi-million-pound sales and service operation from its Boulter Mead Trailer Centre at Bridgwater, Somerset, this highly successful organisation is now seeking a Sales Manager to join them in Sedegmoor. You will take responsibility for managing the sales and servicing of trailers and spares from their retail premises.

Responsibilities of the role 

• Growing sales turnover through proactive selling and marketing
• Maximising profit from and controlling costs of sales and all business activities
• Effectively managing a team of Sales and Workshop staff
• Managing the Accounts of the business
• Saturday work will be required on a rota basis
• Processing orders, taking payments, product handover
• Maintaining and improving an effective ICT system to capture all sales information and ensure accurate management of all stock materials
• You will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of Boulter Mead’s performance

Requirements for the role 

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven sales skills and experience
• Practical leadership skills
• Strong ICT skills
• A full and current driving licence, preferably with B&E entitlement
• Saturday work will be required on a rota basis.
• Full product training will be given and an attractive remuneration package is available to the right candidate.
