My client, an established commercial car deciphers in the region, is recruiting for a finance assistant to be based at their Norwich location. This is a part time vacancy, so we would be happy to hear from well-qualified candidates who are keen to maintain a good work-life balance whilst working for a well-renowned company.


PURPOSE OF JOB

To be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the pallor inputs

To provide banking and purchase ledger support including at other sites.

To ensure that all Company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting

Collect and post cash and credit cards daily
Post to nominal ledger ensuring suspense accounts clear
Register and scan invoices
Maintain cash floats and post to nominal ledger

Human Resources

Input manual clockings on jobs for 24hr and onsite technicians and any other manual clock cards
Producing Time and attendance spreadsheet

Other

Filing
Provide cover for main duties at other branches
Undertake any other duties as reasonably required


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

Accounting experience

IT Literate including Excel and Word

Trustworthy and confidential

Numerate and methodical


HEALTH AND SAFETY

Comply with the appropriate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
