Simple Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for Production Operatives in the Extusion area for our fast growing client in Lymington.
Fully training will be provided and full support given.
Temp - Perm - If you are reliable and get on well within 13 weeks you will be taken on permenantly.
A or B Shift = Starting rate GBP8.80, increasing to GBP9.20 Your normal hours of work will be an average of 37.5 hrs per week. A weekly rotation of early and late shifts. Early Shift is 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 - 11:00 on Fridays. Late shift hours are 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday and 11:00 - 16:00 on Fridays. All breaks and handovers paid.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: (Extrusion)
* Manufacture of materials for supply to HS Butyl Limited customers
* Ability to set and operate specific machinery within the extruder area in a safe and effective manner
* To achieve the tasks set within agreed time and effectively communicating progress to others
* Accurate recording of daily activity and material usage
* Participation in company wide and specific continuous improvement activities
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: (Extrusion)
* Operation of extruder and ancillary equipment
* Maintain run rates at 90% or above
* Responsible for monitoring the quality of the product produced
* Solely responsible for ensuring the end product meets the required quality specification.
* Cleanout of extruders and ancillary equipment
* Ensuring working area is kept clean and tidy and free from obstacles affecting the safe working conditions of others
* Recording of personal daily activity information required
* Accurate recording of all production statistics including materials produced, downtime, changeovers and information directly attributable to the extrusion area
Must have safety boots
