This is a new service within the Group, which has been set up to deliver the homeless support service in Cheshire West and Chester in partnership with the Council in order to support those who are at risk of being homeless, those without secure accommodation and people sleeping rough.  Due to developments and growth within the service they currently have opportunities available for people to join the team either on a full or part time basis as Night Support Workers within the Accommodation service.  You will work alongside Customers, using a person-centred approach to assist in practical tasks which will help them to achieve the goals and outcomes as outlined in support plans and risk assessments.

In this role you will provide support and security service to residents and visitors including controlling access to the building and answering telephone calls, monitoring CCTV to identify any incidents and taking prompt and appropriate action.

With an NVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care or equivalent, candidates will have undertaken relevant training relating to safeguarding and homelessness legislation and practice and will have experience of providing care and/or support services within a social care setting (supported housing, care, nursing, residential).  Experience of working with vulnerable adults, an understanding of the support needs and the issues facing customers and a full UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role.
