Process Development Engineer

We are recruiting for a Process Development Engineer to carry out a range of optimisation projects within a forwarding thinking FMCG manufacturer. Based at the Lincolnshire site you will form an integral part of the engineering team and will work closely with all departments and individuals.

Responsibilities Of The Role:
New Equipment;
" Provision of new equipment - from procurement through to successful commissioning, optimisation and handover to shift teams
" Document and train employees through work instructions to achieve standardised work
Existing Equipment;
" Develop processes on existing machines to get maximum efficiencies
" Review process flows and devise ways to improve
" Lead and support value engineering opportunities
" Investigation of repeat process problems and the establishment of root cause
Materials and Packaging;
" Supplier liaison to support material specifications
" To be become a packaging and raw materials expert to well inform the business
" Work closely with NPD on new product trials
" Conduct raw material trials
General Support;
" Occasionally assist with the day to day running of the maintenance department to support the business
" Work closely with the Development Engineer


The Successful Candidate:
" A Graduate Mechanical or Production Engineer
