Loading Shovel Operator
Shovel Driver CPCS
Permanent Position
GBP24,000 per annum + benefits
Lutterworth, Leicestershire
Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of plant equipment on site. Maintaining a safe working area, ensuring fuel hall stock level is maintained which is critical to the plant operation.
Reporting directly to the Operations and Weighbridge Supervisor duties/responsibilities of the role will include: -
• Ensure safe vehicle movements are conducted around site
• Manage the biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall
• Move and load the fuel within the fuel hall and ensure safe vehicle maneuvering within these areas
• Assist with the fuel sampling when required
• Experienced loading shovel driver
• Knowledge of driver's laws and regulations
• Must have excellent organisational & communication skills
• Monitoring and implementing company H&S and environmental policy
• Counterbalance forklift & telehandler experience desirable
• Able to load and unload HGV vehicles
• Rotating shift pattern
• Must have a clean Driving licence
• Must be able to work in a team
• You will be involved in monitoring the process and involved in the day to day operation of the plant
