Fitters Mate

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fitters Mate who would like to join a forward thinking company with a view to work your way up to a fitters role.
This role will be working away from home during the week assisting a fitter on the installation of Industrial doors.
The role
* Assisting the fitter during installation of industrial doors around the UK
* Working from Newcastle upon Tyne base and working on jobs around the UK
* Travelling to pre arranged customer appointments and repair requests (no call outs)
* Travelling in UK and working away from home throughout the week (accommodation and food allowance will be paid)
* Fitting , repairing and cutting Industrial Doors
* Assisting with assembly of units and motors
* Driving to various locations along with Electrical fitter
* Training alongside the fitter
* All accommodation and a meal allowance will be paid and organised by the company for you
The person
* Must have previous similar experience
* Have experience of working with metals including measuring cutting and grinding
* Ideally electrical experience will be required
* Applicants must have a current CSCS card
* Ideally hold a current IPAF licence
* Must have full driving licence
* Be aware that they will be working from home during the week
* Applicants will have a desire to work towards becoming a fully fledged fitter themselves
This role will become permanent for the right person after a probation period
