HR Officer

You will be joining a small tight knit team of HR professionals in a key role to deliver hands on HR support to line managers and colleagues working in a production environment. You will ideally have experience working within an hourly paid food manufacturing facility, and demonstrate the capability to engage your internal customers in delivering the HR agenda in line with policy and procedure. You will be developing an annual HR plan alongside your specific area and will assist in upskilling and coaching your line managers to deliver this, including the development of performance improvement plans, identifying learning and development needs and ensuring the effective development of the teams and their capability.

You will also be supporting with:

• End to end recruitment from agreeing sign off, process, sourcing, interviewing and organising assessment centres up to offer stage
• Issuing contracts and ensuring all pre employment checks are completed prior to start date
• Planning inductions for all new starts
• Reporting on SLAs and KPIs for your area
• Management of ER caseload from straight forward absence management to more complex and meaty cases.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified to level 5 and previously have experience working in food manufacturing.
