A great opportunity has arisen to be part of our Outreach Team at Clarendon Children’s Centre.
As an Outreach Worker you will be responsible for ensuring that all families within the children’s centre area are aware of the services available at the centre and are supported to access those services they and their children need.
Person specification
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience and enthusiasm when working with children and families
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- An understanding of the role of children’s centres within the community.
- Be flexible in working the occasional evenings and weekends.
- Have a full driving license and have your own transport.
Outreach Worker duties
- Promote and facilitate family learning and parenting courses.
- Be up to date with current legislation.
- Be proactive in reaching groups who do not regularly use services.

This is a temporary contract until 31st August 2019. 32 hours per week.
