We are looking for two motivated individuals to join our specialised Processing Service Centre team in a small, busy warehouse in Winnersh, Berkshire. 

Position: Unit Processor with Warehouse duties

Hours: 38hrs per week, between 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Salary: £17, 289 per annum

Working in the warehouse of an international service centre, this role is not the typical warehouse position.  Responsible for both goods in and out, this busy centre is responsible for processing units across the globe.    Working as part of an experience team, this role requires attention to detail, competent PC use and a willingness to work as a team. One role will include some local van driving.

Typical tasks you’ll be expected to perform at the highest level:

  • Data Input – We need a user with competent computer skills, experience of basic Excel required
  • General warehouse duties, ensuring goods in are processed carefully and efficiently – Experience preferred but not essential, this is not a ‘sit at your desk’ role
  • Clear completion of paper work – many tasks are paper based so user must be confident to copy serial numbers and copy data
  • Perform a full end of process Quality Assurance checks – we’re often the last to handle items before they are returned to the customer, we need someone with great attention to detail.
  • Assisting Drivers unload and load their vehicles in a careful, considerate manner – we work as a team and help each other out
  • Ensuring Warehouse and workplace areas are kept clean – because we look after our work space
  • Lifting and carrying on multiple items – this is not a desk job, lots of lifting and moving but we have plenty of tools to help make it easier
  • Packaging – we pack with a variety of materials to ensure the items are as safe as possible
  • Coordinating external couriers when required – we need to get some items across the globe so rely on external couriers to help us  
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers – we want to work well for the team and our customer, everyone plays a role is ensuring we do this right
  • Planning & prioritising tasks to ensure targets are met – every item needs to be booked in or checked out, deadlines need to be met and every team member helps it happen
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements – we’re a small and busy centre, H&S is paramount
