Sales Ledger Clerk - Part Time Salary cGBP8.50- GBP9.50 per hour DOE 20 hours per week/ 4 hours per day
Location: Reading City Centre
Potential for extra hours at busy periods
Our Client a leading furniture retailer are looking for a professional and experienced sales ledger administrator, for a part-time 20 hour per week position. You will be responsible for accurate and timely transactional processing to the Company's sales ledger, investigating and resolving anomalies as they arise and providing administrative support to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise and monitor your workload to achieve deadlines & targets.
* Reconciliation of customer accounts including matching, investigating anomalies.
* Identify & accurately post/allocate customer payments to the correct accounts.
* Processing sales invoices via bespoke Access Dimensions portal.
* Run monthly sales ledger aged debtors list.
* Preparation of VAT invoices for customers with detail when requested.
* Handling petty cash
Candidate Skills and Experience:
* Confident, analytical person with a level of communication skills
* Ability to quickly and accurately assess information
* Excellent attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
* Previous experience in a sales ledger role would be beneficial, but is not essential as full training will be provided
