Job Description:
The individual will be required to manage and own Quality tasks within a project or business stream team in a professional manner and in accordance with business processes and procedures.
* Lead routine Quality activities without immediate supervision. • Lead non-routine Quality activities with some supervision. • Supply a technical interface with customers (internal and external) at a detailed level. • Encourage a continuous improvement ethos within assigned business area(s). • Make decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority. • Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working and their development. • To be able to access, have a clear understanding of and apply the Submarines Process Library and associated documentation, e.g. Process/Maps Instructions, Workmanship Standards etc., applicable to your particular work scope. • To be able to access, have a clear understanding of and apply the Quality and SHE Management System documentation, e.g. Process Maps/Instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments etc., applicable to your particular work scope and to adhere to all quality and SHE rules and control measures.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office reading and producing reports, inputting data into spreadsheets
* Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis Experience
* Good understanding/Experience of Quality Assurance
* The capability to manage projects relevant to area
* Qualifications to HND level or equivalent experience
* Extensive understanding of quality standards
* Should have previous experience within a quality assurance-related role, and a working knowledge ofas
* Previous experience of SAP and TeamCenter toolsets.
