Pump Engineer / Service Engineer

Pump Engineer / Service Engineer required to work on sewage pumps and wastewater pumps. Our client is a leading specialist in installation, servicing and maintenance in the Water Treatment industry. The pump service engineer requires mechanical knowledge, ideally with some experience of working on pumps, booster sets or wastewater pumping stations.

Our client is a leading service provider in the UK and they are looking for a customer facing, professional field service engineer to join their team. This role will be covering the Midlands and the surrounding area predominantly.

The role would suit a Service Engineer with some experience of mechanical or electrical systems.

Pump Service Engineer Position Overview

• The role is covering the Midlands area predominantly
• Carry out risk assessments on each job
• Provide feedback on parts used in line with procedures to complete a task
• Carry out monthly stock takes on van stock or stock stored at lockups;
• Carry out on-the-job training as directed by your line manager of new recruits
• Liaise with customer on site

Pump Service Engineer Position Requirements

• Previous field-based experience preferred
• Experience of working in the pump / sewage treatment ideally
• Proven ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments
• Full driving license
• Based in or locally to the Midlands

Pump Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary circa GBP24-GBP28K DOE
• Lots of Overtime available
• Company Vehicle
• 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
