We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer in Cambridge, commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Corby, Hertfordshire, . Paying a competitive basic salary plus other benefits detailed below.
The Role
You will be working in the Acoustics division as an Acoustics Engineer to understand the science of sound in relation to buildings. You will be providing expert analysis and advice to assist a range of building design and modification projects across commercial, residential and educational buildings. You will gain hands-on experience as the role will involve a significant amount of site visits whereby you will carry out noise and vibration monitoring. Not only will you be involved in the acoustic design of buildings, but your expertise will also assist in resolving sound-related commercial disputes.
You will have the opportunity to actively learn new skills as you conduct Computational Sound Modelling and work alongside Senior Acoustic Consultants.

The Candidate
As the successful Graduate Engineer, our client is seeking graduates with a minimum 2:1 Bachelors or Masters degree in a related discipline e.g. Engineering, Applied Sound Engineering, Acoustics and Noise Control. You will also demonstrate the ability to think analytically, and have the capacity to learn how to use computational modelling software through past experience on similar CAD packages. You must show a natural desire for excellence both in your work and professional credentials as you join a company renowned for these values.
