This company has a vacancy for a Sales Coordinator. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous experience in a Sales Coordinator, Project Coordinator or P role who can work with their existing sales team to coordinate, process and progress enquiries effectively and efficiently.

An effective Sales Coordinator must be an excellent communicator with impeccable attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude. Superior organisation and people skills are also key.

The goal is to maintain a consistent and professional approach to managing all enquiries and ensuring the sales team is assisted appropriately to maximise each opportunity.

This company is based in Whitchurch, Shropshire and the successful candidate will be expected to operate from their office at this location.

Key Responsibilities

- Qualify and process (enter onto CRM) inbound enquiries and task to relevant sales person as appropriate.
- Constantly review pipeline on the CRM, and with the sales team; challenge sales team and technical team to progress.
- Constantly keeping each enquiry up to date.
- Follow up calls/emails if salespeople are busy.
- Create proposals; defined by salespeople.
- Challenge conversion tactics.
- Receive purchase orders and process internally. Liaise with admin & operations team to action.
- Understand and assist with KPIs.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

- Proven experience in a Sales Coordinator, Project Coordinator or P role would be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e. CRM software) and telephone systems.
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain these to prospects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
- Ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Customer focus.
- Excellent written/spoken English.
- To be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to deal confidently and effectively with a variety of people.
- Good standard of numeracy.
- Good computer skills.
