A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Support Worker to support people with substance misuse and deliver the Detoxification Recovery Programme based in Lancaster.

You will be working for an established and reputable organisation that provides person centred, recovery focused drug and alcohol treatments.

Your duties will include carrying out brief interventions, group work and 1:1 with patients recovering from substance misuse and providing them with support mechanisms. You will support nurses on duty to ensure the smooth running of Recovery clinics, liaising with health care professionals and updating patients care plans and logs.

We are looking for a passionate, empathic, resilient and non judgemental individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, have experience working in similar setting and experience supporting adults with complex needs.

This is a full time salary of £16,633-£19,461 plus excellent personal and professional development and training opportunities.
