Teaching Assistant (Level 1)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and dedicated Special Educational Needs team at our 11-16 mixed, comprehensive school in Guildford.

Students with SEND are educated both in targeted small groups and in their mainstream classroom. The successful candidate will be working within all subject areas within the school.

The post would suit applicants with flexibility, enthusiasm and sensitivity. An excellent understanding of SEND and other learning difficulties is essential. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a willingness to be a team player alongside our committed support team. SEND related training and the ability to run small group interventions would be advantageous.

This is a part time post, 39 weeks per year (term time only), 30 hours per week. The pay scale is Surrey Pay 3 salary range £11,604-£12,919  per annum pro rata (fte  £16,334-£17,866 per annum)
