We’re looking for a Windows focused Infrastructure engineer that thrives on digging deep into technical issues and enjoys external customer interaction. 

You'll play a key role in monitoring and promoting system health for customers across a wide range of industries giving you technical variety and a chance to expand your cloud knowledge. 

2nd Line NOC Engineer Responsibilities:

+ Provide proactive remote systems monitoring and troubleshooting support to our client base, to ensure maximum service availability and performance of their technology infrastructure.
+ Perform a variety of tasks including systems health monitoring, server scans, diagnostic tasks, event log correlation and performance monitoring.
+ Ensure tracking and knowledge base systems are kept up to date.

2nd Line NOC Engineer Requirements:

+ Understanding of core Microsoft and networking technologies.
+ A passion to investigate and troubleshoot Windows Server technical issues.
+ Strong English verbal & written communication skills.
+ Attention to quality and detail.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Aspiration to attain Microsoft Certifications
+ Experience and desire for 24/7 shift work

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Background of troubleshooting in a primarily Windows environment.
+ Exposure to a Network Operations Centre and incident management systems and processes.
+ Previous experience or training with Microsoft Azure would be an asset.
