We have completed a Series A investment round and are now looking for a Head of Talent to design and implement recruiting strategies for our company.
We offer an innovative virtual queue management and appointment product. A B2B SaaS technology product that is used by restaurants, retailers, events and the health sector in order to revolutionise the customer experience in their venues. We work with some significant global brands, including O2, Tesco, Specsavers, NatWest.
The Head of Talent Opportunity:
Head of Talent responsibilities include attracting and recruiting talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience and managing key parts of the employee lifecycle and building a strong employer brand for the company. Ultimately, you will help us to achieve our business goals through growing our team with qualified and high-calibre employees across development, product, sales, marketing and operations.
Head of Talent Responsibilities:
+ Search for candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
+ Work closely with hiring managers to gather job requirements
+ Develop and lead all talent sourcing strategies and activities
+ Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and HR software vendors
+ Manage and work with recruiters as required for key roles
+ Develop and manage online and offline employer marketing activities focussed on building a strong employer brand, including writing blogs, participating in and hosting carers events, managing the company careers webpage, jobs boards and employer profiles (e.g. Glassdoor) and sourcing career related PR/speaking opportunities
+ Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget
+ Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
+ Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans
+ Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
+ Ensure a positive candidate experience for all candidates and new hires at every stage of the hiring process
+ Analyse and report the most effective recruitment methods and measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire
+ Own the employee onboarding experience, ensuring that all employees have a strong experience in their initial months at the company
+ Develop and manage company culture by improving daily life for all employees and arranging regular company social events
+ Manage and deploy the company culture budget
+ Help to drive and instill company values within the team in daily life and through events arranged
Head of Talent Requirements:
+ Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition specialist or similar role within a tech business
+ Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
+ Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
+ Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
+ Good team-management abilities
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
+ BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
+ Someone who has worked within a recruitment company for at least 2 years and is now looking to move in house to a company with a strong sense of purpose where your input has a real impact on the company’s growth.
