Role Profile:
• As part of a team working in the largest contract telent have ever won, you will bring all of your previous project based experience, gained in installation, construction or similar, into this commercially driven environment. The role is as focused on maximizing margins and mitigating service credits, as it is on making sure that the Change Management process is consistently accurate. We rely on this for up to date contract review presentations as well as the usual day to day operations.

The Project:
Highways England have awarded telent the contract for the operation and management of NRTS (National Roads Telecommunication Services), a critical component of national infrastructure supporting the country's 4,400 mile strategic road network. This contract will provide an end-to-end managed service to build, maintain, and modernise the network.

Typical Deliverables:
• Working in conjunction with Head of Service Operations and functional Managers, you will help prepare and present monthly contract reviews, ensuring that changes are recorded and reviewed in a controlled manner.

• You will identify opportunities for changing operation processes and reporting to enable margin improvements to be realised.

• You will be monitoring costs and identifying significant variations, capturing any changes and supporting the development of processes for change management. This will include the change model for each category and updating registered documents.

What we are looking for from you:
• A background of providing guidance to SOPS Management team as well as escalating risks and issues, will help you communicate effectively with the team to ensure delays and changes to scheme works can be resourced accurately.
• Providing support in equipment forecasting (inventory and non inventory) in order to ensure continuity of supply will be crucial. A natural attitude towards business improvement and operational performance means you will want to deliver a service of the highest quality, never losing sight of our Health and Safety practices.
