Electronic Engineer - Near Chelmsford - Salary up to GBP31,000 depending on skills/experience
Working within a small team you will be responsible for designing software and hardware to evaluate new and existing products for the fast paced wireless data and telecommunications industry. As the ideal candidate you will have gained experience of software and electronic circuit design within the radio or telecoms industries. You need to be self motivated, ambitious and have experience of Programming and PCB Design.
The company are based in beautiful surroundings and have other offices in the UK, Singapore, Germany and the USA however still has very much a family company vibe.

Responsibilities for Electronics Engineer:
* Testing and evaluation of new and existing products used within the wireless data and telecoms industries.
* Liaise with chip designers and software engineers to design and construct Evaluation Kits.
* Designing and building the software and hardware used in the evaluation process.
* Carry out evaluation of products to ensure products are meeting customer requirements.
* Development of automated production test facilities for chips and technical support to the production department.
* Carry out component level hardware design adjustments.
* Assist Applications Engineers in technical support to customers.
Requirements for Electronics Engineer:
* Degree level or HNC/HND in Electronics or related field would be ideal.
* Knowledge of Programming in either 'C', Python or Assembly languages.
* Component level electronic circuit design.
* Use of laboratory equipment such as signal analysers, generators and oscilloscopes.
* An understanding of RF circuitry and design principles.
* Own Transport is required due to the companies location.
Non Essential Requirements:
* Working knowledge of Wireless Digital Communication protocol layers 1, 2 and 3.
* Use of TMS320 DSP family, Xilinx FPGA familiarity, Schematic capture / PCB Layout.
* Familiarity with NI LabView and PXI modular instrumentation.
* Experience creating GUI - based applications software.
* Understanding of RF circuitry and design principles.
