Advancing People are working closely with a highly regarding charity in Bedford who are looking for a proven Grants and Bids Officer to join their friendly and driven Head Office team.
This rarely available role will offer the opportunity for the right person to join a very established charity who provide local people with essential financial help in order to lead the very best life they can.
The existing team is well established and are very supportive, with a can-do and open environment awaiting the new team member.
There will be a very detailed handover for the successful candidate, upon joining.
Being a varied role this position will be different every day, from excel spreadsheets and proof reading Grant applications and Bids to attending meetings for applications and sussing out who else is applying for any available funds!
You will need to be a proven Grants and Bids Officer with the ability to hit the ground running - a great communicator with high levels of attention to detail, coupled with empathy and life experience.
