Volunteers Needed!!
We need volunteers to offer support, encouragement and reassurance to local families with at least one child under 5
- Do you have experience of parenting/grandparenting/caring for children?
- Do you have at least 2 hours per week to spare?
- Would you like to be involved in supporting families with young children?
- Would you like to be involved in supporting parents to become more involved in their children’s play and development and preparing them for school?
What’s involved: you would be required to attend our training course and provide two references. All volunteers are required to complete an Enhanced DBS.
The next 8-week course starts on the 9th January. The course runs every Wednesday from 9.30am until 2.30pm. A coffee morning will be held on the first session giving more information on the training provided. The venue is Lime Tree Children’s Centre, 123 Heathfield Road, Birmingham B19 1HS.
The course offers accreditation.
