Lecturer in Construction (Higher Education)
Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Construction (HE) to join us at our Hull site on a permanent, full time basis, where you will be teaching over levels 4, 5 and 6.
The successful candidate will have a knowledge of Health and Safety, Technology of domestic and complex buildings, Environmental Construction, design principles and of building regulations / procurement.
The post holder will teach construction workshop and professional development modules, working primarily with students engaged across a range of courses providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study.
The successful candidate will need to be innovative in their teaching methods. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm and most importantly a commitment to the student journey. The ability to inspire learners is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a well-established team of professionals. You will be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject. A Post graduate Teaching or Education Qualification or Certificate in Education is not essential however, you must be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
