Vitae are proud to be working exclusively with a major construction company based in West London to help source an experienced Expenses Clerk to join their team on a 6-12 month contract.

This role will be joining a large, fast-paced finance team and will specifically be working on the implementation of a new expenses system (Concur). Previous experience in a high-volume, dynamic team will be essential.

- Assist with the implementation of Concur expenses system
- Prepare and / or make payments to employees for approved expenditures or refunds.
- Check all submitted expenses adhere to the company expenses policy and are within the HMRC guidelines
- Ensure supporting VAT documentation and receipts are submitted with the claim.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare expense reports, and periodically balance expense ledgers.
- Manage expense queries from employees and other ad hoc duties
- Answer queries from Managers, Operations Managers, other employees of the company and vendors by phone or email
- Processing of overhead vendor invoices and expense claims in accordance with the Company expense policy and authorisation schedule

This role would suit a candidate with previous expenses experience, ideally with experience using Concur. The business is one that is instantly recognisable within the construction industry and can offer a dynamic, forward-thinking working environment.
