Our client manufacture chemical products and are actively seeking a Field Operator to strengthen the existing team.
You will be responsible for setting and operating various mixing machines at the same time to produce the product, locating and retrieving ingredients from the storage area using the computer system, reading recipes and putting the correct measurement of ingredients into the machines, palletising the end product ready for storage or dispatch and regularly cleaning to the machines to prevent blockages. There will be an element of manual work and heavy lifting
The ideal candidate must have strong mathematical skills and basic computer knowledge to retrieve and input information and ideally possess a valid fork lift truck licence (not essential).
This is a permanent position working 2x12 hour days and 2x12hour nights followed by 6 days off
