We are a young planning consultancy with a growing portfolio of exciting projects, looking to grow our business with the right creative individuals looking to be an important part of our team. Working out of bases in the South West, South East and Midlands, we are currently advising on a number of new settlements, Garden Towns & Villages and are involved in a broader range of strategic planning commissions, including supporting on policy development and development management. Our work is both challenging and rewarding - helping clients to deliver great places for the future, working with multiple stakeholders, delivering results through a collaborative approach.
We are looking for talented and creative planners and built environment professionals, with at least
5 + years post qualification experience, to join us at Senior/Associate or early Director levels. We would consider applicants from all parts of the UK, capable of helping meet demand for our services nationwide. As part of growing our business we anticipate operating from a 'hub' based around the Milton Keynes area with likeminded collaborators.
Ideally candidates will have been involved in large complex, residential led planning projects or strategic housing growth policy matters. A good understanding of housing delivery including an appreciation of land, funding, viability and deliverability considerations will be important.

In this role you will be expected to work across a wide variety of the following areas:
  • Directly advising clients on a range of matters relating to the delivery of large-scale developments, plans and/or policy issues.
  • Leading a project team of our Associates and other sub-consultants to support projects with a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Undertake research on planning issues, development plans, supplementary guidance and other critical information necessary to support our portfolio of projects.
  • Preparing high quality reports and presentations for use within the company and with clients.
  • Preparing and facilitating workshops, project meetings and multi-disciplinary sessions on a range of issues relating to large scale delivery.
  • Developing new project leads and expanding our network of partner organisations.
  • Playing an active part in developing and implementing the business strategy for the ongoing growth and expansion of the organisation, in conjunction with the Directors.
  • Keeping up to date on all areas relating to large scale schemes and master planning, as well as the latest policies and procedures, to assist the company in maintaining and developing the business.

You will need to:
  • Hold a Town Planning degree / masters (or similar).
  • Have previous experience (5 years +) of working with large scale projects.
  • Be IT literate in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ideally some GIS experience.
  • Hold a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel.
