Cubed Resourcing are proud to be working with a well-established Leeds based food manufacturing company.
We are looking for Production Line Leaders to join their existing team and contribute to the companies ambitious and strategic growth plan.
Founded in 1900 the company began manufacturing bespoke food , but today means they can serve those living a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free lifestyle - or looking for tasty foods which are low in fat, sugar and salt, or free-from dairy, lactose and nuts.
With a well-established UK client base supplying into well-known FMCG retailers such as Waitrose, Sainsburys, ASDA, Tesco and Morrisons.
The company is expanding into the US markets across its product range and is heavily investing into automation to secure and future proof this history rich company.
The role of Production Line Leaders
Reporting to both the Production Manager and the Operations Director, duties will include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the production lines
- Make sure all product change over are completed with minimal down time
- All products produced are to the customers specification
- Complete quality checks and recorded in line with the company procedures
- Record all daily activities ensuring accuracy
- Supervise the line and train new starters
- Liaise with QC and Engineers to ensure there are no issues on the line in terms of break downs and quality of the products
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience in a FMCG environment is preferred but not essential
- Supervising a team
- Multi skilled with the ability to carry out various roles
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving
- A good level of English written and verbal
- Good IT skills
Pay Rate:
GBP8.50 p/h
Hours of work:
07:45 > 17:00 Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to also work on Fridays 07:45 > 14:00 during busy periods.
