Location: Ty Pennant, Pontypridd (just 10-15 minutes from J32 of the M4)
Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum plus access to a defined benefit pension scheme
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

To help us offer ever improving and relevant services for our tenants we are looking for a Head of Governance and Risk to join our Team.
This role has been created to lead the Governance function in Trivallis and act as Company Secretary, ensuring that our Board operates effectively and meets all legal requirements.
You will have the ability to think laterally, solve complex problems and make decisions. You will also be able to work across a wide range of complex issues in an organised and methodical manner
You will have the highly developed interpersonal skills needed to work collaboratively across the organisation and have an understanding and appreciation of the bigger picture
You will maintain the Board Assurance Framework and ensure that there are appropriate systems and structures in place, to ensure Trivallis develops in accordance with our rules, vision and values.
You will act as a critical friend and advisor to all Board and Committee members and Executive and senior managers across the organisation, advising and challenging on governance and regulatory matters as appropriate.
You will be a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (or be willing to undertake the qualification) with significant experience of working with Boards and Executives Teams in a complex organisation. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills and a proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a high performing team.
