Human Resources Manager
Hours / Tenure: 37 hours per week, full time
Salary: up to £35.5K

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources at Stoke on Trent College, you will be responsible for the day to day oversight, coaching and mentoring of a small and developing HR team. This is a hands-on, operationally focused HR role. You will be the expert of the team and a point of escalation on employee relations case work, providing advice, guidance and recommendations on any ER matters, covering; disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability issues. You will also support delivering on projects and some key operational change programmes.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- To be CIPD qualified
- In-depth generalist experience as an HR practitioner
- Have experience of leading a team
- A thorough, up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation
- The ability to coach, motivate and influence others across all levels of an organisation
