Head of Sales

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working on behalf of a business that specialise in the manufacture of metal fabricated products. They supply to the automotive, rail, marine and power industries globally. They are recruiting a Head of Sales to support their specialist Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director the role will be responsible for developing new sectors and managing all sales activities ensuring annual sales targets are met. Head of Sales responsibilities will include: - Drive sales in current sectors whilst developing business in new markets - Manage, lead and mentor the internal and external sales team - Produce monthly sales and forecast reports - Looking at unrepresented areas and build relationships with potential distributors and agents - Adhere to the requirements of the New Product Introduction process, working collaboratively with the Product Manager To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience; - Degree or equivalent (Advantageous) - Ideally German-speaking - Experience of working with the European market (Germany would be advantageous) - Experience of working within the power generation or rail industry - Relevant experience within the automotive industry - Fully conversant with CRM systems - Strong technical understanding within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry - Sound understanding of environmental issues globally - Successful in achieving and exceeding sales targets - Able to travel internationally on a frequent basis If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Rachel Littlewood at Elevation Recruitment Group on .
