Credit Controller

A well-established company based in Sutton In Ashfield are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their existing team. Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader in a friendly and supportive environment your main duties will include;
* Chasing overdue accounts by telephone and email
* Raising a bad debtors list
* Dealing with all queries ensuring that they are responded to or escalated in a timely manner
* Sending out copy invoices and statements as necessary
* Ensure month end deadlines are meet
* Assisting with the allocation of cash when required
* Liaise with the sales team to resolve any barriers to payment
* Ad hoc cover for absent colleagues when necessary
Previous experience in a Credit Control position with a proven track record of successful debt reduction is essential. You must be a confident and clear communicator both written and verbally and have the ability to explain financial information to someone from a non-financial background.
In return they are offering 25 days holiday, free parking and a salary of GBP19,000, based on a 35.5 hour working week
