Experienced Reach truck drivers GBP9.00/ hour- Overtime available/LU4
We are currently recruiting for our client based in Luton experienced Reach truck drivers with an immediate start.
Established in 1989 our clients' business has continued to grow and expand their services within the transport and logistics industries, distributing products to some of the largest supermarket brands such as Asda, Tesco's and Sainsburys.
This role will be working within a cold store warehouse environment (-20 degrees) dealing with a range of frozen food products that are all palletised, warm PPE will be provided.
Your responsibilities will include picking of pallets for loading or to areas as instructed by Marshalls. Experience of working in tight and confined spaces with small turning circles will be of benefit and experience of loading and unloading stock from racking 4 levels high will be expected.
Reach truck and/or PPT licence is a must, however if you have a ticket/card and this has expired or was obtained 'in-house', this will be considered.
Working hours days:
Shift Option 1 Sunday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 GBP9.00 per hour
Shift Option 2 Tuesday - Saturday 08:00-17:00 GBP9.00 per hour
If you are an enthusiastic and conscientious person, with the ability to learn and work as part of a team with good communications skills, then this can be the ideal role for you. Please be advised that this is a frozen environment and although warm PPE is provided all applicants must be happy to work in this environment. Regular breaks in a more temperate environment. Ongoing stable work with opportunities for this to become a permanent role after a qualifying period. Holidays and Pension paid.
