My client is a well respected Asset Management firm providing Investment management, Stockbroking and Financial Planning solutions to a wide range of HNW client's.
We are seeking a Financial Planner to join the team, this will be to replace one of the current Financial Planners who is retiring, the successful applicant will take over their client bank of over 60 clients with assets under management of circa GBP24m (GBP14m advisory and GBP10m discretionary). The idea person for this position will also have a client bank of their own of around the GBP5m-GBP10m mark and ideally this would be a few HNW clients rather then a high volume of lower value clients, however, all options would be considered.
The company will provide leads to new clients through a referral network, you would generally expect to receive 5 new client's per year as a rough guide. We would be expecting the applicant to secure a portfolio of over GBP40m within a 3-4 year time period.
Paraplanning support will be given, although the applicant will be expected to write some of their own reports, with around a 50/50 split and full administrative support is also provided.
We are seeking a suitably experienced Level 4 qualified Adviser with SPS, ideally you will be working towards or have a desire to become Chartered Level 6. Ideally you will have experience of partnering with Discretionary Managers and will be well connected within North, West and East Yorkshire. You will be expected to generate new business income by growing the client bank through your own connections.
The position comes with a great base salary and an outstanding benefits package including non-contributory 9% pension, 30 days holiday (rising 1 day each year to a max of 35 days) and a non-contractual profit share bonus scheme
