Policy Planner | Bristol | Market Leading Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Policy Planner to join this highly established and market leading consultancy based in the heart of Bristol.
As a valued member of this medium sized and personable team, you will join an ever expanding consultancy helping to deliver excellent planning assistance to landowners, developers and local authorities spanning across the UK.
The successful candidate will work within this friendly team to offer professional advice across the South West on a range of applications within the residential, commercial, mixed-use, environmental, land promotion and education projects.
Job duties will include:
* Prepare detailed planning policy documents ranging from policy development to sustainability appraisals
* Offering technical advice on complex planning and development management applications
* Offer support and advice on complex planning issues to peers and more junior members of staff
* Contributing to the creation of planning policy concerning minerals and waste, remaining aware of both national and European legislation.
* Act as an expert witness at planning appeals and examinations
