We currently have an opportunity for a talented Electrician to carry out Fixed Wire Testing and remedial work within our FM Compliance Department.
Main duties and experience required:
-Fixed wire testing and inspections on commercial projects.
-Carry out various types of remedial works including board changes, partial rewires, fault finding, installing containment and changing accessories as and when required.
-Experience of testing, inspecting and the completion of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) within commercial buildings ranging from offices, schools, shops and hospitals.
-City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing and Inspection certification.
-JIB Electrician (Approved preferred but not essential).
-ECS/CSCS card is essential.
-Full clean driving license.
-This role may require Disclosure Scotland, Baseline or other similar security clearance.
Hours and Environment
Working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 8am - 16.30pm and Friday 8am - 13.30pm, with the expectation to work overtime to deliver the needs of the business. An Edinburgh based mobile role with most of the work covering Scotland Central Belt area, however some travel further afield maybe required. A company van, laptop, smartphone, power tools and company clothing will be supplied for this role.
