Job Title Import & Logistics Coordinator
Location Leicester
Salary Up GBP23,000 per annum
The Role
Our client, a well-established Fashion clothing design and manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Logistics professional to join their growing team.
In this role, you will be involved in the following:
*
Coordinating with the merchandising teams, factories and external logistics support companies to ensure on-time deliveries;
*
Reviewing all necessary import shipping documentation;
*
Liaising with freight-forwarding agents and internal teams;
*
Ensuring that all databases and paperwork are accurately processes and maintained;
*
Monitoring arrivals;
*
Communicating with customer's warehouses;
*
Other duties as required.
The Candidate
You will have some previous experience in a Freight-forwarding or Logistics environment, as well as:
*
Knowledge of liaising with airlines and shipping lines;
*
Understanding of imports procedures and clearance requirements;
*
Knowledge of Customs procedures is essential;
*
Excellent customer communication skills;
*
Strong administration skills and a confident communicator;
*
A high attention to detail;
The Package
*
Salary: Up to GBP23,000 per annum;
*
Working hours: 8:30am until 5pm Mon- Thu; 8:30am - 4pm Friday. 30mins lunch;
*
20 days' holiday + statutory entitlement; this will increase with length of service;
*
Free parking
