After our client's strong investment in the UK market, a role has arisen for a Planning Project Manager, based in Glasgow. You will be experienced in the planning process of a range of structures, particularly high profile contested developments.
As a complete service company, they manage projects from the initial site selection through planning, finance, construction to operation and management. The purpose of this role is the project management of wind farm design, development and planning process (including planning appeals).
Using your knowledge of the wind farm industry and development, you will negotiate landowner and third party legal and commercial agreements and have a good knowledge of grid connection alternatives.
You will be experienced in engaging and managing outsourced resources including EIA consultancies and maintaining all key relationships with third party stakeholders and organisations, particularly local authorities.
You will play a pivotal role in managing difficult external facing relationships in contentious public domain projects and public engagements working with multiple stakeholders, outsourced partners and the public.
